Kalyan Ram is ready with his next movie, Amigos, which is all set to release Feb 10th.i.e. tomorrow. Kalyan Ram has done triple action for the film. The film’s trailer was good and raised expectations towards the film. However, the film’s advance bookings are not much encouraging.
According to reports, Amigos pre-release business has been closed for 15 crores. Kalyan Ram’s last film Bimbisara’s success became an added advantage to Amigos business. In Andhra [6 Territories] the film has done business in the ratio of 6.5 Crores and in Ceded 2.5 Crores, and the Nizam area is valued around 4 Crores.
The overall business of Telugu states is valued at 13 Crores and the worldwide total will be around 15 Crores. The film requires to collect 15 Crores worldwide share to achieve the breakeven status.The film needs decent reviews and positive response from the audience to get the success at the box office.
The film has an interesting concept of doppelgangers and is directed by the debutant Rajendra Reddy. Amigos is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Sandalwood beauty Ashika Ranganath is making her debut in Telugu, and we will see her as the love interest of Kalyan Ram. Kollywood music director Ghibran is scored the tunes for this film.
