After a huge blockbuster like Bimbisara, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram came out with the movie Amigos in which the actor played a triple role of doppelgangers. The film was well promoted, but unfortunately, the end result was disappointing. The lack of a powerful narrative can be said the main reason for the poor performance of the film.
Debutante Rajendra Reddy directed this project. The film is now available on the OTT Netflix platform. As of now, only Telugu audio is available, along with English subtitles. Kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath debuted in the Telugu cinema with Amigos.
The film received average reports on the day 1 of but it failed miserably at the box office. Nandamuri fans and the audience expected the film will score big due to the interesting trailer, but the director was not able to translate his vision perfectly on to the screen.
This action thriller was produced by one of the leading production houses in the Telugu Film Industry, Mythri Movie Makers. Brahmaji, Sapthagri, Jayaprakash, and Kalyani Natarajan appeared in key roles in the film. Ghibran composed the tunes. Those who missed watching Amigos in theatres can now catch it on Netflix.
