Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited film Kaantha is all set to hit theaters worldwide in just a few hours, and it had its press premiere in Chennai yesterday, with the response being overwhelmingly positive, creating strong buzz ahead of release.
Originally made in Tamil, Kaantha has been dubbed into Telugu for a wider reach. The film is set in the 1950s Madras film industry, and early reviews praise its authentic period setting and high-quality technical execution. A few reviewers also said that Dulquer Salmaan deserves a national award for his performance.
Today, the film is having its Telugu premiere, and if the response comes similar to the Chennai Premiere, Kaantha could become another Telugu hit for Dulquer, joining the ranks of super duper hits like Mahanati, Sita Ramam, and Lucky Baskhar, which made him dearer to the Telugu audiences.
