Ram Charan normally plans his career very well and is known for not taking huge gaps between his films. Right from 2012, he had one release at least per year till 2019 and it was only Covid that stopped his film releases. In 2022 he had 2 back to back releases in the form of RRR and Acharya.
He planned well for Game Changer as well and took this Shankar project on sets before RRR release. He expected no big gaps after RRR as Game Changer was planned for an early 2023 release. However, due to the Indian2 delays due to various reasons, Game Changer got impacted and walked out of the possibility of the 2023 release and postponed to 2024. Recently, the Game Changer unit shared an update that the shooting has been further postponed to October 2nd week.
Due to these delays, Ram Charan does not have a release in 2023. And now, Indian 2 is facing some more hurdles in content. As per reports, there is no clarity on whether to lock the film in a single part or two part. Even Shankar is spending more time on Indian 2. And now the buzz is that Game Changer might move to Sankranthi 2025 release.
If this actually happens, then Ram Changer will not have a release in 2024 as well. This means there will be a gap of 3 years to see Charan on the big screen which is a massive disappointment for Mega fans. Shankar and the team really need to push a lot to ensure Game Changer releases in 2024.
