Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Jawan which was released on September 7th, opened with unanimous blockbuster reviews and posted record-breaking numbers on weekend. The film now has achieved the magical figure of 600Cr Gross and is all set for an all time record first week in Bollywood.
Jawan had a good hold at the box office as it got the collections with almost maintaining 80% of Monday’s numbers. The early trends indicate today’s number will be around 24 – 25Cr net which makes the total 6 days early estimations gross to 615Cr+. The film will easily break Pathaan’s 1st week numbers officially which is at 630Cr+ and set a new benchmark for Bollywood.
Jawan, directed by Atlee, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Jaffer Sadique, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani in the lead roles. The film’s music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The film features King Khan in a double role – an intelligence officer and a thief/vigilante. The film was shot across Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander composed for the film, bankrolled by Shahrukh Khan’s home production Red Chillies Entertainments.
