Jeevan, an actor cum entrepreneur has been providing food for more than 350 Covid-19 patients every day besides distributing food at major hospitals like Gachibowli TIMS, Fever hospital, Osmania General Hospital where the footfall of patients is more.
Jeevan, who owns Charcoal BBQ restaurant in Madhapur spoke to an English daily where he explained about his work during the pandemic. “Our kitchens at Madhapur and Malkajgiri function round-the-clock. Mostly, requests come in through jeevankumarhelpline@gmail.com. I am planning to reach out to children and other organisations with the help of my friends and family. Requests have been coming from people who could not afford essentials, for them, I pay for through GPay. As much as 10,000 kgs of rice was sent to tribal areas like Nagarkurnool, Bhadradri Kothagudem,” he said.
Jeevan also plans to take up a similar initiative for the film industry. He requested people to develop empathy and help out whenever they come across people in need. The Jathiratnalu actor was also seen in Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi and Falaknuma Das.
