Jailer released positive reviews and solid word of mouth as compared to Bhola Shankar which mostly received negative talk.
On Saturday, Jailer collected a solid Rs 4 crores in just Telugu states and the rest of India and overseas Telugu business standing at Rs 1 crore. Compared to this, Bhola Shankar managed only Rs 3 crores which is indeed shocking. Today, Jailer Telugu collections will be more than double of Bhola Shankar. This is totally unexpected that a dubbed film (even though it is starring the mighty Superstar Rajinikanth) would dominate Chiranjeevi’s release in this manner.
Jailer has emerged as the go-to option for cine lovers across the Telugu states and the advance bookings for shows today have been sensational with projected occupancies across the weekend showing great signs for the makers. At the current pace, it won’t be a surprise if Jailer closes bigger than Bhola Shankar in the Telugu states.
