Jagapathi Babu has had a revival of sorts over the past few years. The actor has changed his approach towards cinema and is playing pivotal character roles and negative roles. Now we hear that the actor will be playing a crucial role in Prabhas’ Salaar.
The actor recently joined the sets of the Prashant Neel film and has started his portions. It is expected that Jagapathi Babu will be locking horns with Prabhas in this film and might play one of the antagonists however, his role is being kept as a surprise for now.
The actor will also be playing a villain in Rajinikanth’s upcoming action-drama Annaatthe. The film’s shooting was recently completed in Hyderabad where the ‘Legend’ actor shot alongside Rajinikanth and Nayanthara for the Tamil film.
The shoot of Salaar resumed last week after a gap and Prashanth Neel is making sure the film picks up the speed and the current schedule finishes on time. Salaar is a pan-India project and is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada. The film will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
