The death of a young female junior artist who committed suicide on November 29 has led Jagadeesh to be arrested. On November 27, the Punjagutta Police discovered that Jagadeesh secretly recorded a video of the woman who died while she was with another man. The woman committed suicide by hanging herself in her room after Jagadeesh allegedly blackmailed her and threatened to publish her private pictures on the internet.

Since the tragic death of the woman, Jagadeesh has been on the run, but he was caught by the cops on Wednesday and sent to remand. More details about this case are awaited.
