Post the massive success of the 2021 comedy Jathi Ratnalu, lead actors Naveen Polishetty and Faria Abdullah were flooded with offers. Faria was seen in cameo roles in Most Eligible Bachelor and in a special song in Bangarraju.
Now, she has come on board for another Tamil-Telugu bilingual alongside Vijay Antony. This bilingual project will be made on a grand scale and big budget and will go on floors shortly. The film is a period drama set in 80s backdrop and will go on floors in the last week of May.
This unique combination has certainly attracted some interest for the movie. Vijay Antony is known for his experimentation with unique subjects. It is indeed a brave decision by Faria Abdullah to go ahead with such an experimental project at this stage of her career.
Faria will also be seen in Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura where the Mass Maharaja will play the titular role. Ravanasura also stars Sushant, who will play Ram. It will release on 30th September 2022 in theatres. Sudheer Varma is the director as well as the writer of the movie, and Abhishek Nama is the producer of the film.
