Director Shree Karthick is currently on cloud nine after the massive success of Oke Oka Jeevitham. The film opened to low numbers on the opening day but picked up pace due to positive word of mouth from the audience. This is also Shree Karthick’s first Telugu film. However, the director has made Tamil films previously.
During an interview, Shree Karthick said his dream project is with Allu Arjun. He expresses his interest in making his second film with Allu Arjun. When asked about the waiting time to make a film with Allu Arjun, he replied, “Allu Arjun is like one of our own in Tamil Nadu. I will wait even 5 years if it is necessary for Allu Arjun.”
He also said that film is a fantasy script that has a lot of realism in it. In addition to that, he stated how Allu Arjun gets a lot of love in Tamil Nadu. “When Allu Arjun’s Telugu movies release here, there is no difference. It is like a Tamil movie itself.”
We have to wait and watch whether his combination will materialize. After all, Allu Arjun will be busy with Pushpa: The Rule, and following that he has expressed his interest to work with directors with a strong market only. But, Allu Arjun has always been supportive of young directors and if the script is written on a large scale, it might definitely work out.
