Actor Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh’s latest film Malli Pelli has failed at the box office, but still, the team conducted a success meet for the movie.
Speaking on the occasion, Naresh said that he is glad that ‘Malli Pelli’ has been released in the 50th year of the Vijaya Krishna Movies banner. “Superstar Krishna garu started the banner to bring his wife’s ideas to the wider public. That itself was a rarity. I would say that the bona fide, the boldest couple was Krishna garu and Vijaya Nirmala garu,” he said, hinting that his relationship with Pavitra Lokesh feels like the blessings of Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala themselves.
“On the occasion of Superstar Krishna garu’s 81st birthday, I am proudly dedicating ‘Malli Pelli’ to him. When MS Raju garu narrated this story, we thought that Vijay Krishna Movies should definitely bring it out. If entertainment and message are combined, the audience will surely like it. Audiences from all walks of life, be it mass, class, youth, or family, are enjoying the movie. The family audiences’ patronage is growing day by day. Thanks to Suresh Productions for distributing the film so well,” Naresh said.
Malli Pelli has been written and directed by MS Raju while Naresh himself has produced the movie under Vijayakrishna Movies banner. Apart from Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh, the film also stars Ananya Nagalla, Sharath Babu, Jayasudha, Annapurna, and others.
