“Masooda”the latest horror thriller is all set to hit the small screens soon. The film, which was released on November 18 this year, has garnered good talk and impressed the audience.
Subhalekha Sudhakar and Sathyam Rajesh too played key characters in the film, which further starred sangeetha, Thiruveer, Kavya Kalyan and others in pivotal parts. The film has received good talk and excellent collections at the box office too.
The audience praised director Sai Kiran for the way he tackled the movie “Masooda”. He thrilled the audience in the theaters in a gripping manner. OTT platform Aha Video has bought the movie’s digital rights for a whopping price. It is being said that it will stream on December 16.
Directed by James Cameron, Avatar 2 is all set to hit the theaters on December 16. No big film is being released on that day. In this context, it appears that Aha is planning to release ‘Masooda’ on OTT.
Masooda tells the story of Neelam who is away from her husband, essayed by Sangeetha, who works as a teacher in a school. She lives in an apartment with her daughter, Nazia (Bandhavi Sridhar). Their neighbor is Gopi (Thiruveer), who also does a software job. One day in the middle of the night, Nazia starts behaving strangely, Gopi goes to their house and takes her to hospital.
From there, the film becomes thrilling. How did Gopi save Nazia, who was possessed by a ghost? What were the adventures he did for her? Who is Masooda? To know all this, watch the film Masooda on OTT.
Sangeetha’s performance in the film got good marks. She cultivated emotion as an afraid mother of the strange behavior of the ghost-haunted daughter. Thiruveer has been seen in the roles of a type of sadism for a while. But in this film, he has acted very well in a positive character. Subhalekha Sudhakar as Peer Baba and Satyam Rajesh as Alla Uddin were impressive in this film.
The film is produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka under the banner of Swadharm Entertainment. The film’s music is composed by Prasanth R Vihari. Jeswin Prabhu served as the editor. In the past, films like ‘Malli Raava’ and ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’ have been released under the same banner.
