Ezra Miller starrer DC superhero film The Flash was released to mostly mixed reviews and relatively low hype. The film collected approx Rs 4 crores on its first day in India. The collections are certainly not on par with what the makers would have expected. Adding to this, the collections from today are expected to take a bigger hit owing to Prabhas’ Adipurush release.
The film was released on Thursday and due to Adipurush’s release, it might fail to get big numbers on the weekend. Compared to other Hollywood releases in India in 2023, The Flash stands at the 6th position. Fast X had the biggest opening of Rs 12.50 crore in India followed by Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp at Rs 8.5 crore. Guardians Of The Galaxy: Volume 3, John Wick: Chapter 4, and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse occupy no.3, 4, and 5 in the list.
The Flash has managed to surpass the opening-day collections of Transformers: Rise of The Beasts by a small margin.
