‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth will be next seen in a retro-style action drama film titled ‘Vettaiyan’. Directed by T. J. Gnanavel of Jai Bhim (2021) fame, it features an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fassil, and Rana Daggubati. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, it is headed towards a grand release in October 2024.
The film’s carrying good buzz among audiences primarily because Rajini’s previous theatrical venture, Jailer (2023), was a blockbuster at the box office. Having said that, here’s the latest update on Vettiayan. As officially announced by the makers, ‘Super Star’ Rajinikanth has wrapped up his shooting part of the film.
According to a reliable source, Vettaiyan narrates the story of a dedicated cop who fights the corporate exploitation of educational institutions. The film’s background score and songs are composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
