Guntur Kaaram distributors are requesting the Producers to prepone the release date. It is widely known that the film is made with one of the craziest combinations. Director Trivikram and Mahesh Babu, the two most prominent brands, joined hands for the film, so the movie did a huge theatrical business of around 150Cr. Because of such huge stakes, Guntur Kaaram distributors are requesting the Producers to prepone the release date.
The movie’s unit was announced for 12th January release, and on the same date, Hanuman, a Pan-Indian film, was also announced. On the 13th, Eagle and Saindhav are scheduled to be released, while on the 14th, Family Star is being released.
Another film, Naa Saami Ranga did not announce the release date, but they are also hinting at coming on around the same date. So the distributors, including Dil Raju, are asking the Guntur Kaaram Producers to release the film on 11th January as the combo is big. They want a solo release day in all Theaters to take the massive opening.
The distributors believe this combo will not be affected by the pre-festival, and it also needs a solo opening to take a big start. Dil Raju’s film Family Star is coming on 14th January, and he also happens to be the distributor of Mahesh Trivikram’s film; he wants to maintain a three-day gap at least to maintain the correct number of theatres for both movies.
We need to see what the final decision of the makers will be. Surprisingly, despite a big competition, no one is moving their film from the Sankranthi race.
