His next release, Bhimaa, is slated for release this Friday and features the Golimar star as a powerful cop. The film’s theatrical trailer received a thumbs up from the masses, with some drawing comparisons with Boyapati Sreenu’s Akhanda (2021).
The makers of the project have completed the censorship formalities with an ‘A’ certificate for a crisp duration of 143 minutes. Coming to the economics, the film’s breakeven mark stands at a modest INR 14 crore; Disney+ Hotstar and Star Maa have bagged digital streaming and satellite rights, respectively, for undisclosed prices.
Gopichand is apparently super-confident about this film and hopes to revive his career, which has witnessed too many failures in recent times. The film’s carrying a good buzz in the trade, thanks to the promotional content released so far.
