Icon Star Allu Arjun has once again topped the charts for Google’s Most Searched Tollywood Actor (2022). This is Allu Arjun’s second consecutive year at the top of the search list. Interestingly, Allu Arjun is the only actor in the Top 5 list without a release in 2022. His last film Pushpa: The Rise hit the screens in December 2021.
Superstar Mahesh Babu is the second one on the list followed by Prabhas, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. Mahesh’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata was released last year and apart from this, he had a calm year professionally. Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam hit the screens in early 2022. He also made news for his Adipurush teaser and several leaked stills from Salaar sets created great interest.
Ram Charan and NTR made waves worldwide with SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. The film created massive hype for the duo worldwide and while Ram Charan was busy with RC 15 with Shankar, NTR was away from the shoots much like Mahesh and Allu Arjun.
The list last year featured the same names with the exception of Megastar Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi was replaced by Ram Charan in the 2022 list of Most Searched Tollywood Actors. The Google Search list is made based on the search volume against each actor during the specific period.
