Ajith Kumar’s latest action comedy, titled “Good Bad Ugly”. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film raised good curiosity among his fans. Though the other language bookings are not that great, the film’s ticket sales are good in Tamil Nadu. Let’s check whether the content of the film can satisfy everyone.

Story:

Good Bad Ugly tells the story of AK, a dominant don who sacrifices his criminal ways for his family and promises a comeback at when his son is 18. To save his child in crisis, AK goes back to being a don and solves the problem. This is the story’s core idea.

Performances:

Ajith takes on the role of Don, Red Dragon AK, showing up in most scenes. He excels at displaying style and swag in every scene. The role offers little depth for him as an actor, only in select scenes. Trisha plays the female lead and AK’s wife in the film and she’s fine.Sunil, Rahul Dev, KGF Avinash, Yogi Babu, Prasanna, along with veteran actors Prabhu and Simran are okay. Arjun Das stands out as the villain.

Analysis:

Adhik Ravichandran, a devoted Ajith fan, directs Good Bad Ugly. This script is simple and predictable, with no unexpected twists. The director fills up the film with slow-motion shots and scenes that elevate the hero. He makes an impact despite the clichéd narrative style. The first half delivers a solid setup with the hero’s intro and unfolding events. The family dynamic works well but lacks impact. The interval episode is superb with perfect staging and the latter half also follows the strategy of elevating the Hero to the skies and though the screenplay becomes repetitive, it ends with a suitable climax.

Positives:

  • Ajith’s Stylish Screen Presence
  • Mass/Elevation Scenes
  • Background Music and Visuals

Negatives:

  • Predictable Plot
  • Thin Emotional Connection
  • Few Dragged Parts in the Second Half

Good Bad Ugly Movie Review and Verdict:

Director Adhik Ravichandran delivers excellent fan service for Ajith in Good Bad Ugly. The film has entertaining scenes but lacks a strong story and emotional depth. Still, it serves as an engaging watch.
