Simbu starrer Vendu Thanindhathu Kaadu directed by Gautham Menon released earlier today to packed houses. The film has received rave reviews and is emerging as a big box-office success. The film is running to packed houses and is registering great occupancies all over Tamil Nadu.
The success of the film has marked a strong comeback for Gautham Menon whose last film Enai Noki Paayum Thota starring Dhanush failed to reach massive expectations. This is Simbu’s consecutive big opening after Maanadu that released last year. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanadu was a blockbuster success and got makers from all over India rushing for remake rights.
Simbu’s performance and Gautham Menon’s screenplay especially in the second half are getting a massive response and the film is projected towards and blockbuster weekend considering the positive word of mouth.
Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’ will be released in Telugu as ‘The Life Of Muthu’ in Telugu on 17th September. It also stars Sidhi Idani, Raadhika Sarathkumar, and Neeraj Madhav in key roles. AR Rahman has composed music for this film and it has received great response as well.
