Game Changer’s Shocking Struggle to Cross 100 Cr Share

Despite the favorable circumstances of ticket price hikes, midnight show permissions, and flat rates, “Game Changer” has fallen short of expectations at the box office. With major pan-Indian films achieving ₹100 crore share in Telugu within two days regardless of word of mouth , the underwhelming performance of this highly anticipated film has left trade analysts and fans surprised.

In its Telugu version, “Game Changer” managed to collect around ₹80 crore share in six days. However, with the Sankranti festival holidays coming to an end, the film’s pace suggests it might close its run under ₹100 crore. The film’s inability to sustain momentum post-holidays points to a lack of interest in audiences, further dampening its prospects at the box office.

The film’s performance outside the Telugu states has been equally underwhelming. In Tamil Nadu, “Game Changer” has struggled to reach a double-digit gross even after six days. Meanwhile, the film is a complete washout in Kerala. In the Hindi market, the film started decently but saw a sharp decline post-weekend. Adding to this, allegations of inflated corporate bookings have raised eyebrows over its Hindi collection figures.
