The Gaddar Film Awards for the year 2025 have been officially announced by the Government of Telangana. The biggest highlight is the announcement of the NTR National Award for Chiranjeevi, while Naga Chaitanya won Best Actor for his performance in Thandel.
Revival of Government Film Awards
The Telangana government introduced the Gaddar Awards to honour film personalities, replacing the earlier Nandi Awards. Many film personalities believe that the revival of government film awards after nearly a decade under the leadership of A. Revanth Reddy is a major encouragement for artists and technicians in the industry.
Award Ceremony on Ugadi
The government is planning to organise the award ceremony in a grand manner on the occasion of Ugadi, with the presence of several prominent film stars. The jury committee has now announced the winners of the second edition of these prestigious awards.
