Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has done the unexpected. Not many believed that this sequel to his 2001 movie would create such milestones at the box office. But now, the stupendous collections are in front of everyone to witness. Gadar 2 has now broken the Baahubali 2 collection barrier and raced into all time top 2 Hindi films.
Gadar2 is running with decent numbers and now surpassed Baahubali 2 nett 510Cr. This Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel starter has so far collected Rs 512 crore and stands behind Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan in all-time box office collections. Pathaan is the number 1 film in the list of highest collections in the history of Bollywood with Rs 525 crores.
This is a stunning performance by the Sunny Deol film but now, from the looks of it, the no.2 position doesn’t seem safe for long. Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan is raking up mind-boggling numbers and might even surpass Pathaan in its complete run. With no other biggie in sight for September and outstanding word of mouth and blockbuster talk everywhere, Jawan might soon topple Pathan and become the new no. 1.
