Ask any director about Mahesh Babu and they will tell you that he is a director’s actor. Mahesh has always been known as an actor who always listens to his director without questioning the director’s thought process. Once he signs a film, he will not get himself involved in the script.
Even if Mahesh knows that the film is going to be a failure, he just does what the director says. We have seen this in Brahmotsavam as well as in Aagadu. But for the first time, Mahesh got himself involved in the script of his film. Earlier after seeing the rushes of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh felt that certain portions need a reshooting. Which was done based on Mahesh’s suggestion. Now Mahesh is even getting involved in editing of Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Mahesh has held discussions with director Parasuram Petla as well as his dear friend, Koratala Siva to make changes to the script. Now all three are involved in the editing of the film as well.
It is to be seen whether this new approach from Mahesh Babu has a positive impact or not. But usually, when a star hero involves himself in any movie it is usually a positive sign for the film. Allu Arjun and JR.NTR have been following this method for a long time now.
