We often hear some software employees and students asking leave for big film releases. And we also saw few of the companies granting permission for employees on star hero film release days. But have you heard anytime that a state government announcing leave to watch a movie. No, Right? But Assam government did it for the movie “The Kashmir Files”.

Assam Government announced half day leave for all the government employees to watch #TheKashmirFiles in theatres. The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri  is getting praised everywhere. Public’s WOM made this a sensational hit. Though some controversies running around in some parts, people are talking about the movie all over India.

Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Tripura, Uttara Pradesh and Uttarakhand government’s announced The Kashmir Files as Tax Free. Assam took one step forward and announced half day leave for all the employees to watch the movie.
