Akhil Akkineni’s Agent movie is going through an interesting turn of events regarding its OTT release. The film, which was released amidst massive hype among the Akkineni fans and the trade circles had became a terrible disaster at the box office. Now, even after such a disastrous result, the film is still being a part of the moviegoers’ discussion due to the delay in its OTT release.
The movie was initially planned for OTT streaming on May end but the director of the film, Surender Reddy took time to give another re-edited version of the film, which has delayed the film’s OTT release. Now finally, Agent will be streaming on OTT from June 23 on Sony Liv platform.
Agent movie was produced under the banners of AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, Vakkantham Vamsi has written the film’s story. Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in the Agent movie. Hip Hop Tamizha composed the tunes. Bollywood actor Dino Morea played the antagonist. Urvasi Rautela sizzled in a special song.
The movie tells us the story of Ricky (Akhil), who is very passionate and a wild spirit who wants to be a raw agent from childhood due to an incident. Mahadev (Mammootty) scouts and takes Ricky under his wing and handpick him to get the best of a rogue ex-agent Devil (Dino Morea). A straightforward mission goes haywire and Ricky is now the target. How Ricky solves this problem and how he serves his nation is what the story is all about.
