Megastar Chiranjeevi has finally broken his silence and questioned the center on the Vizag Steel Plant issue. Chiranjeevi took to Twitter and highlighted the services of the steel plant, especially in the last few days. The steel plant has been single handedly supplying 100s of tonnes of oxygen to various parts of the country. This service at a time when the nation is oxygen starved is indeed applause worthy.
Chiranjeevi Tweeted a statement on the issue highlighting the works been done from the plant. He said that at a time when the nation is battling a health crisis, the Plant is providing continuous services. Just last week a train laden with 150 tonnes of oxygen left for Maharashtra from the steel plant. The plant has been running Oxygen Express to supply Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to various parts.
He further added that the plant is directly responsible for saving lakhs of lives by producing 100s of tonnes of oxygen. Questioning the central government’s decision, Chiranjeevi said that at a time when the Vizag Steel Plan was doing such a great service, how viable was the recent decision of the government to privatise the steel plant.
