The AP Government’s decision and subsequent G.O.s on the ticket pricing have given the film industry quite a few sleepless nights. A number of discussions were done on the issue and both sides issued quite a few contrasting statements over the last 9 months.
Now, it appears that the issue might actually come to an end. AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy will be meeting Megastar Chiranjeevi today afternoon. The duo will be discussing the concerns of the industry over a lunch meeting in Amaravati. Among these concerns, the ticket pricing issue will be of top most priority.
Megastar Chiranjeevi who has so far maintained a diplomatic stance on the ongoing ticket issue lashed out at the AP Government a couple of months ago. Speaking on the issue, Chiranjeevi reminded the AP government that their term is for 5 years only while that of a cine actor is timeless.
He pointed out that he has been waiting for the political leaders appointment for showcasing the struggles of the industry. But on continuous non-appointments and meeting cancellations further dragged the issue. Let’s see what conclusion comes out of this meeting today.
