After Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri and Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming release of Jalsa for his birthday on September 2nd, there are plans of re-releasing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Indra and Gharana Mogudu as well. However, fans and show organizers are now facing a small issue from exhibitors.
Pokiri special shows got a huge response and the fans are celebrated like never before. Few theatre owners failed to control the audience and the fans in euphoria did a lot of damage. These losses ran into lakhs for many theatres. In many places, chairs and screens were also damaged much to theatre management’s disarray.
Because of this, theatre owners are now being extra cautious. So now for any special shows, the exhibitors are demanding huge advances and the amount will be returned after the show if there is no damage. The exhibitors don’t want to take any risk now.
This trend of screening fan favourites is indeed a great one and is surely giving an experience that many fans who missed watching these films during their initial screenings. However, fans also need to enjoy in a way that causes no loss to property.
