Prabhas’s pan India big film Salaar is one of the most anticipated movies of the Indian cinema now. There have been many speculations about the movie since it started, regarding its sequel and its link with the KGF Series as well. Leaving these rumors aside, there are another set of reports emerged about the release date of Salaar.
The makers had officially announced that Salaar will be released on September 28, 2023. Now according to the information of some Telugu distributors, it is said the makers are in plans to postpone the release date to Sankranthi 2024. However, we need to wait for the official confirmation from the unit. The film is having a superb buzz in the trade and the audience as well. So, if at all this news turns out to be true, then definitely Salaar will have a good advantage of the Sankranthi Season.
There were also a few inside reports about the characterization of Prabhas in the movie. It was reported that Prabhas’s character in Salaar will be a completely negative one, much similar to the KGF’s Rocky Bhai. But it has to be said that it is difficult to show a superstar like Prabhas in a negative character as it may not be well received by the audience. Certainly it will be a massive task for Prashanth Neel and we will have to wait and watch until the movie releases to know whether he is successful in his attempt or not.
Salaar has Prabhas in the lead role along with Prithviraj Sukumaran in the character of Vardharaja Mannaar, co-starring Jagapathi Babu and Shruti Haasan in other prominent roles.
