Denis Villeneuve’s Dune 2 is all set to release this weekend and the censor formalities have been completed. The film has cleared censor review with a 12A rating and there will be moderate violence and bloodshed in the movie. With a 2 hour 46 minutes of duration, Dune 2 is slightly longer in duration than the first part.
Dune 2 follows the story of a warrior who has visions of an apocalyptic future and must choose between love & the fate of humanity in this sci-fi fantasy drama sequel which features impactful violence & intense battle sequences.
The first film came out in 2021 with Timothee Chalamet in the lead; it also featured Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, and Zendaya. Isaac’s Duke Lete and Momoa’s Duncan Idaho will not be returning in the sequel.
Dune 2 will pick up from where the prequel ended: Paul seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the universe’s fate, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
