The months of April and May are considered very good for box office everywhere since these months are part of the summer season. Audiences generally throng the theatres during this season minting money for the producers. But from the last few weeks, there are no notable releases. This made audience not watch the small budgeted films that released recently. So, the dull season at the box office continues.
There are two films slated for release this weekend. One of them, Raju Yadav starring Jabardasth fame, Srinu has washed out already. The film secured very poor word of mouth on the opening day itself. The other release, Love Me starring Ashish Reddy barely generated any buzz. Love Me was made with a good budget but the bookings are disastrous here and from US as well.
Now all eyes are on 31st May with three new releases lined up. Gangs of Godavari starring Vishwak Sen, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam starring Karthikeya and Gam Gam Ganesha starring Anand Deverakonda will release on the same day testing their lucks. These three films are very crucial for the respective heroes as they badly need a hit. It’s interesting to see who would emerge as the winner.
