2024 Summer has been the worst ever season for the Telugu Film Industry. None of the Top – 6 Heroes have released their movies in this year’s summer. Also the movies which have been released during these 2 months were not that much successful. Only Dasara, and Virupaksha movies have become hits. Even Dasara was not able to brought profits for all the parties involved while Virupaksha was the single proper blockbuster at the box office. With Telugu Cinema not being up to the mark, dubbing movies are dominating the second half of summer.
Already big budget action film Agent bombed at the box office. Moreover small films like Anni Manchi Sakunamuley, Mem Famous, Malli Pelli had done a lot of promotional campaigns but still all the movies have failed to bring the audience to the theaters. Despite having good starcast and noted production houses the Telugu movies failed to impress the audiences. At the same time, dubbing movies are becoming successful.
Vijay Antony’s Bichagadu 2 opened with very big numbers at the box office. What’s more surprising was hardly there were no promotions but still it got good collections and became a clean blockbuster. Today, Malayalam movie 2018 has been released and it has opened better than all the other releases. Even for this movie also there were no promotions done as well.
