Mohanlal’s Drushyam was one of the biggest hits in Malayalam which was released in 2013. Later this film was remade in all languages separately and received the same response from respective industries. Drushyam was remade in Telugu with Victory Venkatesh in the lead role and was super hit in the Telugu States.
Recently, Drushyam 2 was released directly on the OTT platform and has been receiving tremendous response from viewers. Makers have planned to remake the film in Telugu before the digital release of Drushyam 2 itself and yesterday makers have confirmed the same. Jeethu Joseph the director himself will be directing the Telugu version and Victory Venkatesh and the other cast who worked for part 1 will be seen in this sequel. Drushyam2 Telugu remake shoot to start from 5th March and will be shot without any schedule breaks. Makers planning to wrap the entire shoot in 50-60 days and if so the film may hit screens in mid June. Suresh Babu will be producing this film under Suresh Productions.
