Director Anudeep Kv became an instant sensation in the Telugu Film Industry after he scored a blockbuster hit with Jathi Ratnalu. The movie was loved by all types of audiences and became a huge success at the box office.
Anudeep has created this mark with Jathi Ratnalu and has managed to create a niche fanbase for himself in a short period. Just a few days ago, First Day First Show, which was written by Anudeep, was released in theatres. Owing to his image, he helped promote the film and attended all the events before the release.
But, this strategy has failed miserably and First Day First Show has crashed at the box office. The movie failed big time and audiences dismissed the film on the opening day itself. Now, the audiences are saying that even Jathi Ratnalu was only successful because of Mahanati fame director Nag Aswin’s involvement.
Given this, the trade is no longer interested to buy Anudeep’s next film with Sivakarthikeyan titled Prince. Before this, there was a lot of buzz among the trade circles for Prince. But it has now died down after the recent turn of events.
Having said that, as long as the content of Prince is good, people will surely celebrate the film.
