Director Vignesh Shivan confirms he is out of Ajith’s AK62

After a blockbuster like Thunivu, fans of the star actor Ajith Kumar were excited to look forward to his next with Vignesh Shivan, and also they were waiting for the updates regarding the film. But, there’s a significant change in the movie.

A few days ago, we reported that director Vignesh Shivan was replaced by another director. Now, the director indirectly confirmed that he is out of AK 62. Today, he changed his Twitter bio, in which he removed #AK62 and wrote Wikki6. So, it is officially confirmed that he won’t be part of Ajith Kumar’s next big film.

The film was planned on a very grand scale with a big budget and some cast and crew were also finalized. However, Because of some differences, the film in Vignesh Shivan and Ajith combination has been cancelled. The film is still produced by Lyca production only and now Lyca and Ajith seeking options in directors.

The news is Magizh Thirumeni will come on board to direct the film. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Arvind Swamy are likely to be a part of this extensive project. Anirudh Ravichander to compose the music for this movie. Magizh Thirumeni’s previous films are Thadam and Kalaga Thalaivan. He also worked as an assistant director under Selva Raghavan and Gautam Vasudev Menon.

According to the rumors, Ajith was not satisfied with the script narrated by Vignesh Shivan and had requested for changes. Other reports claim that to match the hype of Thalapathy Vijay’s Thalapathy67 with Lokesh Kangaraj, Ajith wanted to get a star director to direct his next film.
