Web series are being more popular these days. The main reason is that the content is being received widely across all regions of people. The audience has been watching series irrespective of language and cast if the content is good. Web series in India started by Bollywood filmmakers and now makers from all industries are making the web series.
Tollywood makers also started making web series and many actors are being part of it. Though web series from Tollywood haven’t got good reach, content creators are making efforts to bring the best. Recently there was news that Director Teja is in talks with OTT platforms for a web series. Responding to that Director Teja has said that he wanted his movies to be screened only on the big screen. And he also said that he has no plans of making web series right now. Teja has signed two films out of which one will be with Rana and another one with Gopichand.
