A talented Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj and Dhanush teamed up for the first time. It is an action thriller titled Jagame Thandiram. Dhanush disappointed with Pattas this Pongal and this time he hopes for a strong comeback. On the other hand, the director Karthik wants to continue his success after a blockbuster Petta.
Jagame Thandiram was scheduled to hit the screens on 1st May but its release was lashed by the Coronavirus. The Netflix team has approached the film producer offering a whopping amount for a direct OTT release and he replied that he will make a final decision after discussing with Dhanush and Karthik. There’s a strong buzz surfing on social media is that team has opted for direct OTT Release. But the news about’s direct release is false. Director Karthik Subbaraj says that Jagame Thanthiram is meant for theatrical release and we have to wait for it. It will not release on OTT directly.
Jagame Thandiram will have its simultaneous Telugu release and the Telugu version is titled Jagame Thantram. This movie features Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lakshmi as the female lead and GOT fame James Cosmo will be seen in a key role. Sashikanth produced this flick under YNOT Studios and co-produced by Reliance Entertainments while Santosh Narayan composed the soundtrack.
