Goutham Menon is currently busy with the promotional interviews for Vendhu Thanindhatu Kaadu and during one such interview, he was asked about a potential sequel to Gharshana. Gautham confirmed that there is a very high chance for a sequel and that it will happen very soon.
Gharshana is an official remake of Gautham’s Tamil movie Kaakha Kaakha and the film became a huge success in Telugu. Venkatesh’s performance in Gharshana and his chemistry with Asin really connected with the masses at the time.
If this movie materializes, it will have a huge craze among the audiences as the film did well in both Tamil as well as Telugu. Gautham will be occupied with the sequel of VTK next only after which he will deal with other subjects.
Gautham will likely shoot the sequel in both Telugu and Tamil with one actor rather than doing it twice. It will also be refreshing to see Suriya and Venkatesh in a cop role after a long time. We are excited and hoping that this sequel works out and we see prime Gautham back in action.
