Tollywood Ace producer Dil Raju has called for a press meet and spoke about his upcoming film Family Star. Family Star stars Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles and it is directed by P. Parasuram of Geetha Govindham fame. The film is slated for release on 5th April this year.
Vijay Deverkonda was also present during the press meet. Dil Raju while talking spoke about Family Star’s release strategy. He said both Telugu and Tamil versions are getting released on 5th April. The runtime is also locked at 160 minutes i.e., 2 hours 40 minutes. Family Star has managed to grab a U/A certificate. He also said that the film is a clean family entertainer with 4 action episodes. In Tamil Nadu, the film is releasing in 250 screens which is considerably a good release. After 2 weeks, Family Star will release in Malayalam and Hindi as well.
Family Star’s trailer has released recently and received okayish reviews from the audiences. The audience felt that something was missing from the trailer. The combo of Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda carried a lot of hype during the filming stage but it disappointed after the trailer’s release.
