Telugu Film Producers Council results are out and surprising everyone, it was Dil Raju’s camp that held massive lead over others with the producer himself gaining a huge majority of votes. Overall, the election was contested for the following posts
President – 1
Vice Presidents – 2
Hon.Secretaries – 2
Joint Secretaries – 2
Treasurer – 1
Executive Committee Members – 15
The ace producer won a whopping 470 out of 675 votes and said that if members have voted in such huge numbers for him, surely he must be doing something good.
The Progressive Producers Panel candidate for president, KL Damodar Prasad, who was supported by Dil Raju, defeated Gemini Kiran by 24 votes. The Producers Council Panel of C. Kalyan backed YVS Chowdary and T. Prasanna Kumar who went on to win Secretaries’s posts. The same panel’s Rama Satya Narayana was elected Treasurer by a unanimous vote.
As joint secretaries, Bharath Chowdary from Dil Raju’s panel and Natti Kumar from C. Kalyan’s panel triumphed. Also From Dil Raju’s panel, Ashok Kumar K and Supriya Yarlagadda were already elected as Vice Presidents without opposition.
Dil Raju’s panel also won 10 out of 15 posts in the executive committee and where Raju himself won with an overwhelming lead over others.
