Dil Raju is slowly becoming the care of address for the Controversies. The industry people always give diplomatic answers in press meets or any events or interviews, especially if the questions are about Star Heroes. People try not to hurt anyone in the industry.
Even Dil Raju has done the same thing in Telugu industry in these many years as he compared no Hero with another or told one is no1 and one is no2.
However, during Varisu promotions Dil Raju made comments that Vijay is the No1 superstar in Tamil, and he’s bigger star than his competitor Ajith. Dil Raju’s comments seemed to have hurt the feelings of Thunivu team.
Even in the audio event also Dil Raju once again claimed that Vijay is no1 which was not at all required. Now both parties are not interested to meet and decide on their clash on same day release, which puts the burden for buyers with continuous changes of release dates of both films.
As we reported earlier, there can be a change in the release date of Thunivu which can be expected in the evening, and if it happens, we have to wait and see how the team of Varisu will react to it.
A few days ago, speaking to a Telugu news channel, Dil Raju has stated that Vijay is a bigger star than Ajith in Kollywood and his film, Varisu, deserves more screens than Thunivu in Tamil Nadu.
Since then, Dil Raju has been facing a backlash from Ajith fans, and has even been trending on Twitter.
When media asked him to comment on the controversy, Dil Raju said, “There’s a backstory to that quote, and it is unfortunate that both netizens and the film buffs are making it a big issue just by listening to a 20-second clip. I urge everyone to watch the full interview and understand my intention and context.”
