Balakrishna’s Akhanda has created a storm of sorts on YouTube.The recently released name reveal teaser has been on a record-breaking spree. It raked in a whopping 11 million views in just 24 hours of its release. And by doing so it has surpassed even the much-awaited RRR teasers.
RRR’s teaser took 4 whole weeks to get to 7 million views. Apart from this, the RRR ‘ Bheem for Ram ‘ Teaser took 4 weeks to reach 12 Million views. One of the main reasons for these record views is the heavy expectations set on the Balakrishna- Boyapati combo.
The expectations on this Akhanda have been sky high ever since it was announced. The duo of Balakrishna and Boyapati have given successful mass entertainer such as successful Simha and Legend in the past. Now we hear that the satellite and digital rights of the movie have been sold for a record amount. Star Maa has bagged the satellite rights for the movie while Hotstar has closed the deal for digital rights.
