Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s much-anticipated period-drama has been in the works for over 2+ years now. The film which was originally scheduled to release in 2021, got pushed to 2022. The movie was then again pushed from an April release date.
It has been more than a year since the release of the teaser and there have been no updates from the production house or Rana Daggubati. Further postponement of the film will only affect the film adversely as the season is already packed with massive releases.
Rana’s latest film to hit the theatres,1945, also faced similar problems and crashed at the box office. He will be wary of not repeating the same mistake again. There have also been reports floating around that Virata Parvam might get a direct OTT release but nothing is confirmed.
Apart from Virata Parvam, Suresh Productions has also been silent about the other movies under their banner. Movies like Dongalunnaru Jagratha and Rajahmundry Rose Milk are also under their production currently.
