A couple of days before the release of Ravi Teja’s Khiladi, producer Koneru Satyanarayana Rao gifted a car worth 1.25 Crores to the director. This gave people the impression that Khiladi was going to be an absolute feast just like Krack.
But Khiladi was released on February 11th and has received majorly negative reviews from audiences. The film has been dismissed by the Telugu audience and it is heading towards an average or flop venture at the box office. The first-day collections have been decent but the reviews will not help the film.
In view of this, people are shocked as to why the producer gifted the director such a costly car. Many are saying that these are just tactics used to promote the film.
With DJ Tillu garnering extremely positive reviews, Khiladi might find it hard to sustain at the box office. The pattern of scoring flops after every hit is a worrying sign for Ravi Teja and we hope for his comeback in his next movies.
