Producer Aswini Dutt is currently on cloud nine after the success of Sita Ramam. At a time when the industry was in a state of panic and confusion, Sita Ramam came as a sigh of relief for Aswini Dutt as well as the film industry in general.
During an interaction with Ali on his hit talk show Ali Tho Saradaga, Aswini Dutt spoke about the Producers’ Council issue. He stated that a producer offered a 100 crore remuneration to an actor. 50% of the payment was done in advance and the remaining was planned to be paid after shooting.
Aswini also stated that the same producer participated in the Producers’ Council strike regarding the huge remunerations of actors. He rightly pointed out the hypocrisy by stating that the producer only offered to pay huge remunerations and then he only held strikes for the same.
Although Aswini Dutt did not take any names, it looks like he is talking about DVV Danayya. This matter is somewhere related to Maruthi and Prabhas’ film, where Danayya is the producer. However, now the industry circles are saying that Danayya is out of the Prabhas-Maruthi venture.
