Dhanush’s Sir movie openings are bigger than Vijay’s Vaarasudu

Dhanush’s Latest film Sir has released yesterday, and the film is receiving critical acclaim and superb box office collections. The film’s openings in Telugu States have come out in the range, which no one expected. Also, Vaathi the Tamil version is getting a good response.

The film’s unit had arranged paid Premiers before the release day, and the promotional strategy worked out very well. As a result, Sir movie received a sensational opening in all territories in Telugu States. Overall 1st day Worldwide gross of the film will be around 5.25 Crores.

Other than Dhanush, Vaathi further stars Samyuktha, who has been part of successful films like Bimbisara and Bheemla Nayak in Telugu and Kaduva in Malayalam. Samuthirakani, Tanikella Bharani and P Sai Kumar played pivotal roles in the film. Vaathi has music by GV Prakash. The film is directed by Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema and Mr. Majnu fame.
