Dhanush’s SIR movie holding well on weekdays and set for big 2nd weekend

Dhanush’s SIR, the Telugu version of Vaathi has been doing wonders in Telugu states. The collections were great on day 1 and day 2 of which enabled it to achieve breakeven in several territories within the first weekend. Dhanush’s powerful performance and GV Prakash’s solid BGM helped the movie immensely in drawing crowds to the theaters.

After having an splendid first weekend, the film had maintained momentum and received good collections on weekdays as well and as there are no new Telugu films releasing this weekend, SIR film will have the advantage of being the 1st preference for the audience and trade circles ate expecting the film to score big in second weekend.

The movie’s breakeven mark in the Telugu states is around Rs 18 crores, and lit has already achieved breakeven in many areas and will garner more profits this weekend. Venky Atluri has directed this film which also stars Samyukta Menon, Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadi, and Sai Kumar among others.
