Devara starring NTR is all set for release on 27th September worldwide. The film’s release trailer has also been released recently and the team is busy promoting the film online. Devara was initially censored U/A with 177.58 minutes but the team has gone back for re-censoring now and its details are as follows.
The team after many checks has trimmed the length of the film. Major scenes of the second half have been chopped according to sources. Devara’s final censored version is 170.58 minutes including Warning advertisements about smoking and drinking. The exact film length will be 163 minutes i.e., 2 hours and 43 minutes. First half of the film is said to be a big lengthier than second half.
This is a great decision by the team to trim the unnecessary scenes. Recently many films have been criticised of being long in terms of runtime. The teams of those films exhibited great confidence but after the ill response they had trimmed many minutes from the film. It was of no use later as well. So better to go with a medium length. Devara also has a second part which will be teased at the end. Fans and Audience have been eagerly waiting for the film.
