Devara is all gearing up for release on September 27th. The advance bookings of the film continue to have a super strong performance. The opening day Hyderabad City advance sales are in the range of 15 crores. The total Telugu States gross is more than 35 crores. Devara’s Day 1 total worldwide advance bookings is nearly 75 crores till now.
Overall Indian gross is close to 45 crores and Overseas Day 1 pre sales are also in the range of 30 crores. Most numbers are from the Telugu version and other language’s numbers opening depend on the word of mouth. If the film secures a positive word of mouth then superb walk-ins can be expected in a big way. The film is expected to collect in the range of 130 crores worldwide in all versions on Day 1.
The film will then stand as the one of biggest openers of Tollywood. NTR and Koratala Shiva are hoping big with the outcome of Devara. Director Koratala Shiva wants to bounce back hard from his previous disaster, Acharya. NTR on the other hand wants to establish himself as a Pan Indian star. He had already lined up War 2 and NTRNeel to serve this purpose. So let’s wait for one more day.
